Green Company Selects Kodak Plates

PRESS RELEASE

A. Maciel Printing, an environmentally friendly company, uses chemistry-free plates Thermal Direct plates from Kodak. The company's pro-Earth stance has attracted business from customers such as the Rainforest Action Network, American Land Conservancy, Greepeace, ForestEthics, and the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition.

The Kodak Thermal Direct non-process printing plate features a traditional grained and anodized aluminium substrate, creating a true "drop in" plate product with the look and feel of a prsensitized aluminium plate. It doesn't require the use of a processor or modifications to imaging devices or the press. In addition, the plates are compatible with all popular thermal CTP imagers, and a wide range of inks and fountain solutions.

A. Maciel Print also purchased a Kodak Prinergy Evo workflow system, Magnus CTP platesetter, and Matchprint inkjet proofing solution.
