ESD tutorials (North Central chapter)—April 18-19, 2006, Holiday Inn, Bloomington, MN
The three courses are ESD Basics for the Program Manager (April 18), ESD Standards Overview for the Program Manager (April 19), and ESD Packaging Principles (April 19).

ESD Device/Design Seminar—May 1-2, 2006, ESD Assn. Headquarters, Rome, NY; May 22-24, 2006, Fraunhofer IZM, Munich, Germany
Seminar includes in-depth technical education in the following areas: ESD in the industrial semiconductor IC context; ESD models and ESD testing; ESD device operation; ESD circuit operation; technology impact on ESD design choices; special circuit requirements, including RF, and their impact on ESD; CDM ESD protection; and design examples and case studies.

ESD Effects in Integrated Circuit Technologies—May 3, 2006, 12:00 p.m. EST
The seminar will describe the threat of ESD that comes in various forms when the IC chip packages are handled at production and test areas, review the concepts of ESD protection designs that can be built-in at the package pins, and outline the recent advances in the electronic industry technology.
