Kodak Wins 3 InterTech Technology Awards

ROCHESTER, NY—Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group (GCG) has been awarded three 2005 GATF InterTech Technology Awards from PIA/GATF. The InterTech awards recognize excellence in innovative technology for the graphic communications industry.
The winning products are:
- Nexpress Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions, for the new capabilities of protective coating, appearance-enhancing high-gloss, color gamut expansion, and improved PANTONE color matching capabilities added to the Nexpress digital production color presses.
- Colorflow Custom Color Tools v3.1, for enabling color management experts to optimize the color performance of each component device in the end-to-end workflow system.
- PDF Compare and PDF Merge, Adobe Acrobat plug-ins for the Kodak Prinergy and Prinergy Powerpack workflow management systems that provide an automated way to manage correction cycles in a prepress workflow.
