THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS—Members of the European Metallizers Assn. at the autumn general meeting approved an amendment that will—for the first time—allow paper and film metallizers from outside of Europe to join the association.
According to Eduardo Beasley, EMA’s executive director, "This change will allow the EMA to develop technical standards that are more widely adopted and information on market trends and statistics will be more comprehensive."
The next meeting of the EMA will take place in Freising, Germany on April 7-8, 2005.
