Ipex 2006 Adds 6000 sqm to Broaden Reach

PRESS RELEASE

BIRMINGHAM, UK—In a move to meet exhibitor demand for additional space and accommodate some exciting new features at Ipex 2006, organizers IIR Exhibitions have secured tenancy of Hall 20 at Birmingham’s NEC. The new hall will replace Hall 10 to generate a further 6000 sqm of floor space, offering an extension to the prepress area of the show.

With over 250 exhibitors already committed to the international event, which will run from April 4-11 2006, over 70% of the available space has now been sold. Hall 20 will host pre-press, digital, and other hi-tech businesses, which will be a major focus for Ipex 2006.

"We are extremely encouraged by the demand for space at Ipex 2006 so far. This highlights the renewed optimism in the print industry and a desire to showcase products that are best in class," says Louisa Theobald, sales director, IIR Exhibitions. "Hall 20 will provide visitors with an exciting mix of product developments and market intelligence through the cutting-edge technology on show. Bespoke zones focusing on areas such as MIS, large format and paper will highlight how business innovations are affecting all areas of the print industry."

Ipex takes place every four years. Further information is available on ipex.org.
