NPES and Idealliance to Sponsor Conference

RESTON, VA | NPES and Idealliance 2017 announce the 2017 Legislative Conference to be held March 22–23, 2017, in Washington, DC. A tax reform panel will be part of the multi-association education and advocacy event themed, "The First 100 Days.”

Mark J. Nuzzaco, NPES VP, Government Affairs, says the panel will comprise "… top tax policy theorists, and legislative and political strategists and tacticians in Washington, DC, and the country.…This will be more than a lecture; it will be a two-way dialogue between DC experts and top printing, imaging, and mailing industry executives on the frontlines of technological innovation and capital investment."

According to the sponsors, other legislative and regulatory industry issues that will be addressed during the conference will include healthcare reform, reduction of government over-regulation, restructuring and revitalizing the US Postal System, reducing patent troll abuses while also protecting patent-holders' rights, and strengthening global markets for US manufacturers.

The conference is co-hosted by NPES and Idealliance and is supported by Presidential Sponsor Canon USA, along with Executive Sponsors the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) and the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI).
