Jindal Films Reports Film for Thermal Market

NEW DELHI, INDIA | Jindal Films announces the introduction of Label-Lyte Platinum Thermal 75PT600 film. This white, surface-printable polyolefin film is built with a single-layer polymer substrate said to replace both coated direct thermal substrates and thermal transfer ribbons.

According to company, film provides high printability using standard thermal and barcode printers, enabling sharp, durable, and fade-proof images that are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Print surface is reported to be compatible with a wide range of ink systems, including UV- and water-based, and backside surface is receptive to p-s adhesives.

Labels printed with this film are described as stable to 130 deg C, eliminating heat stability issues including pre-imaging and fading. Film is also said to be UV light-resistant, showing no fading or yellowing after being tested for 10 months in simulated QUV outdoor conditions.
