Yupo Internal Changes to Better Serve Converters & Package Printers

CHEASAPEAKE, VA, USA—Yupo Corp. reports a restructuring of internal technical and sales resources in order "to provide package printers and converters with the highest levels of direct service." According to the co., Mike Licata now will serve as Director, Technical Service in Application Development; with Mike Cafiero as Director of Sales, IML; and Andrew Madden as Director of Sales, Direct Thermal and Pressure Sensitive.

The restructuring follows the company's April 2001 announcement of its purchase of the In-Mold Label (IML), Non-Label Specialty, and Direct Thermal Paper businesses from Kimberly-Clark Corp; co. says realignment reflects Yupo's commitment to enabling label professionals to maximize production efficiency and achieve consistently high-quality finished products. Adds Yupo Corp. of America president, Osamu Sasaki: "The new personnel alignment extends the reach of our sales, technical, and customer support departments to meet the specific needs of packaging and converting professionals."
