EcoCortec Doubles Its Capacity

 

ST. PAUL, MN | EcoCortec, a European subsidiary of Cortec Corp. and manufaturer of biodegradable films, announces the phase-three expansion of its Beli Manastir, Croatia, plant. This expansion will double manufacturing and warehousing capacities with this 3,000,000 euro investment. The new production hall will contain three new high-tech extrusion lines, a confectioning line of Cortec’s Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI) papers, and a warehouse for various Cortec products. 

EcoCortec offers customers complete converting, extruding, and printing capabilities. The company manufactures films and bags according to customer specifications in terms of product size and performance, and products are tested in an ISO/IEC-17025 accredited laboratory.

The new space will also warehouse products of Bionetix Intl., Montreal, QC, Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cortec that manufactures microbial based bio products. It is comprised of solid, proprietary technologies to produce biological waste treatment products that are used in thousands of applications and various industries throughout the world.
