LDPE Tough on Contaminants

IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) food packaging LDPE film seals at low temperatures and maximum f/f/s speeds, even with contaminants such as blood, fats, ice, dairy products, or dry powders present. Said to eliminate channel leaks when used as a monolayer package or as a sealing layer in laminated standup pouches, and initiates seal at 240 deg F. Blend of metallocenes is formulated for high pliability and strength in quick-frozen food applications. Film is available in thicknesses of 1.25-5 mils and can be corona treated for use with water- or solvent-based inks.
