SCOTTSDALE, AZ | The In-Mold Decorating Assn. (IMDA) conducted a real-time market study of Q4 2010 to gauge the momentum and growth of companies that have a vested interest in in-mold labeling (IML) of packaging and in-mold decoration (IMD) of durable products. The largest percentage of respondents, 38%, said the target market for their products was packaging. Durable products were 31% and consumer products another 28%.
Overall, IMDA says the results show very healthy actual IML and IMD sales growth for Q4 2010 as well as continued anticipated strong growth for the early part of 2011.
