Heraeus Material Has Low Surface Resistance

LEVERKUSEN, GERMANY | Heraeus recently introduced Clevios HY 1, a highly conductive material for touch and printed electronics technologies said to achieve 50 Ohm/Sq

Company says transmission levels over 96% can be achieved at higher levels of sheet resistivity. Materials is suitable for use as an electrode in touch screens and membrane switches. When applied to plastics and glass, it is said to offer a smooth and thin conductive film, and it can be printed by traditional methods including gravure and slot die.

Clevios HT 1, which will concentrate more on transmission properties, is expected out later this year.
