PMMI Announces Pavilion for Package Printing

RESTON, VA | HP, QuickLabel, and Printpack are among those already signed up for the new PACKage Printing Pavilion planned for PACK EXPO International 2018. The event, scheduled for Oct. 14–17, 2018, at McCormick Place, Chicago, is produced by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.

“There has been an overwhelming response from exhibitors, and we are excited to see all the new package printing innovations PACK EXPO International will showcase,” says Laura Thompson, senior director of expositions, PMMI.

The following companies are also planning to showcase innovations in the pavilion:

Kao Collins

H.S. Crocker Co.

KBA - Kammann USA

Avery Dennison Corporation

Dotec Roll Handling Solutions

Fastik

dic co.

Afinia Label

Colordyne Technologies

PMMI says that with a line-up like this and space approaching 90% full, this pavilion is positioned to exceed the expectations of digitally charged end-users and OEMs hoping to explore the latest trends in packaging printing.

SKU proliferation, micro marketing efforts, sustainability, and traceability concerns reportedly are driving companies toward digital packaging applications. Meanwhile, more and more suppliers at PACK EXPO International are exhibiting digital products, says PMMI, with an emphasis on smart packaging applications. The new PACKage Printing Pavilion brings together these end-users and OEMs. The 50,000 sq-ft pavilion specifically targeting package printing, located in the South Building at McCormick Place, will shine a spotlight on digital printing and converting technologies for short-run, on-demand, cost-effective, variable data, and personalized packaging.

Exhibitors can reserve space in the PACKage Printing Pavilion to showcase innovations such as digital color printing applications for folding cartons, corrugated and flexible packaging, labeling, coding and marketing solutions, and other smart package printing options.
