WELCOME, NC | Summer Industries, a manufacturer of paper tubes, cores, and cans made from 100% recycled paperboard, recently announced the opening of a new plant in Neenah, WI. The plant marks the sixth plant opening in 12 years for the company, which reportedly runs state-of-the-art manufacturing lines designed and built in-house.

Summer Industries serves a variety of industries in the eastern half of the US, including manufacturers and converters of papers, films, p-s tapes and labels, metal, foil, strapping, nonwovens and other textiles and more. The Neenah plant represents an investment of more than $1.5 million and will create over 20 new manufacturing jobs when the plant is in full operation. Industry veterans Peter Emenecker, general manager, and Scott Meyer, operations manager, comprise the leadership team of the new facility

“We were fortunate to attract top industry talent to lead the Neenah operation.” says Summer Industries’ VP Anthony Patterson, “Peter and Scott are men of character, with a commitment to excellence in whatever they undertake. They understand this market and have a proven track record for growing the business. This makes them a perfect fit to bring the core values of Summer Industries to the Fox Valley.”
