AIMCAL Organizes Technical Program at ICE USA and Issues a Call for Papers

FORT MILL, SC | AIMCAL, the Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators, is organizing the technical program for ICE USA (April 9-11, 2019, Kentucky International Convention Center, Louisville, Ky.) and has issued a Call for Papers. Proposals may be submitted on the AIMCAL Website until Jan. 16, 2019.

The technical program for the fifth ICE USA builds on successful agendas organized for previous editions. Sessions cover research, new technology and best practices for all segments: web coating, printing, drying, web handling, converting, finishing, adhesives, coatings and substrates. Speakers target all experience levels. Attendees may choose a one- or three-day registration.

“The AIMCAL program gives attendees knowledge they can immediately put to use to boost productivity and solve problems,” says Julie Ford of ICE USA.

AIMCAL has been an active participant in ICE USA since its inception. In addition to organizing the technical program, the association is hosting the AIMCAL Pavilion once again. “The long-standing partnership between AIMCAL and ICE USA benefits everyone -- attendees, exhibitors, the show organization and members of the association,” says Craig Sheppard, executive director of AIMCAL.

The AIMCAL Pavilion provides members with a turnkey booth, simplifying exhibition logistics and lowering costs for members. An integrated lounge provides space where Pavilion exhibitors may sit and talk to attendees over a cup of coffee.

AIMCAL also will present its popular one-day Fundamentals courses on April 8, 2019, the day before ICE USA opens. Process managers, engineers and other members of the converting community may attend either Coating & Drying or Slitting & Rewinding. Register for ICE USA at www.ice-x-usa.com/register.
