Sun Chemical, Fort Lee, NJ, forms Sun Chemical Security, a new global business unit that will provide a wide range of products used to print packages, documents, and currency that incorporate security measures. The unit also will market forensic security systems to ensure authenticity of the products themselves. General manager John Luppino will lead the new unit.
Arpeco, div. of Precision Automatic Co., Colwyn Bay, UK, appoints Holtby Williams Intl. exclusive distributor for the full range of its inspection slitting and rewinding systems in the UK and Eire.
Bill Carr becomes regional sales manager at Innovative Systems Group, Raleigh, NC.
The Global Container div. of Scholle Corp., Northlake, IL, adds Leon Gianneschi as president. He will head Scholle's liquid packaging business worldwide. Scholle also reports the opening of a sales office in Weinheim, Germany, to sell bag-in-box packaging to markets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Jay Wertheimer, president of Wert-heimer Box Corp., Chicago, IL, and a past chairman of the Assn. of Independent Corrugated Converters, died of pancreatic cancer November 27.

At Rollprint Packaging Products, Addison, IL, Dhuanne Dodrill is named president and chief operating officer; Doug Dodrill is named VP of technology; and Tony Paolino is promoted to director of sales and marketing. Robert Dodrill retains his position as chairman and CEO and continues to be active in the company's daily operation.
