MPI Release Projects 20% Sales Increase

WINCHESTER, MA | MPI Release anticipates a 20% increase in sales for the next 12 months as a result of the introduction of new liner products for novel applications, quick response times, 4—6 weeks deliveries, and  exceptionally high quality performance.  The company supplies release liners for pressure-sensitive labels, the graphic arts field, plastics and rubber processors, converters, composites and structural plastics, medical applications, and more.

Contributing to this growth is the acquisition of a plant in Greenfield, IN, in 2009, which doubled MPI’s capacity. Effective with the purchase of the Indiana production facility, releasable materials have become the company’s entire focus. The new coater at the Indiana plant is a Polytype 87-in. wide thermal coater that complements its ultra violet (UV) curing lines and electron beam capabilities up to 82 in. wide.

Collectively, this wide array of capabilities is said to allow the company to cover the gamut of curing systems that are available for sourcing release chemicals from around the world as well as deliver a very vital new curing capability to the company’s state-of the-art equipment line-up also located in Winchester, MA. In addition to expanding  MPI’s product offerings, it also provides the security and convenience of a second climate-controlled facility.

Ed Alois, president of MPI, states, “Our company’s ongoing goal is to build on it’s reputation as a hands-on supplier, with personalized responsiveness to customers of any size, quick turn-around of sample requests and quotations and on-time shipments of consistent quality. The company stands second to none in their ability to formulate new products within a prompt or tight time frame, working in close, creative-collaboration with their customers.”
