Gallus Demonstrates Wine Label Finishing

ST. GALLEN, SWITZERLAND | Gallus Ferd. Rüesch recently hosted a two-day event in St. Gallen to demonstrate the finishing of high-end wine labels.

During live demonstrations, potential customers were able to see the performance features of the Gallus TCS 250 label press in combination with in-line, flatbed hot foil embossing on a Pantec RHINO

Reportedly, the wine label being printed in the live demonstration impressed with its special haptic properties and a sophisticated design incorporating spot colors and gold embossing. The modular in-line concept of the Gallus TCS 250 with its different printing methods (e.g. offset, flexographic, and screen printing) and variety of finishing options, is said to combine perfectly with the Pantec RHINO to deliver optimum printing quality.

The event also gave visitors had the opportunity to discuss the latest products, developments, and possible solutions in label printing with experts from both Gallus and Pantec and their fellow label printers.

Christof Naier, VP of sales and marketing at Gallus, says, “The great interest and positive feedback of our participants, in particular from traditional wine-growing areas such as Italy and France, clearly demonstrates the importance of such an event. ‘Gallus Wine Days’ offered the ideal occasion for cultivating existing customer contacts and obtaining new ones. Now more than ever, ensuring customer proximity and transferring the necessary know-how are key features of our company culture. With this [event], we have created an ideal platform for this.”
