MADRID, SPAIN | Derprosa, supplier of lamination and packaging finishes solutions and specialist in the manufacture and sale of BOPP, entered the American, Chinese, and Japanese markets in 2012, implementing what the company says is an ambitious business expansion plan and successfully introducing itself into different international markets.
According to the company, one of the foundations for continued expansion has been its consistent support for R&D, making it possible to carry out several product launches over the course of the year. These included the launch of SoftTouch metallized products and the Elegance colored film range.
As a result of this concentrated business expansion strategy, Derprosa ended 2012 with a growth of 10% in sales and a 35% increase in profits. This year the company, which has a presence in more than 60 countries, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
