Valley Packaging Expands Operations

PULASKI, TN | Valley Packaging, a div. of Green Bay Packaging (GBP), recently broke ground to mark the start of construction for a new 300,000-sq-ft corrugated converting complex. The facility is expected to improve the quality of the product, expand capabilities, and allow for future growth of the business.

Company says this modern, state-of the art building will also improve its already strong environmentally friendly manufacturing process through improved utilization and reduced resource consumption.

“Most importantly, this investment allows us to further improve our strategic focus on our customers’ needs in the southeastern United States and is a testament to the success of our entire team at Valley Packaging,” says Bryan Hollenbach, executive VP, Green Bay Packaging.

The new plant in Pulaski, TN, will incorporate the latest manufacturing technology, and the plant layout will contribute to efficient flow, improved waste reduction, and safe work areas.

“The new facility and converting equipment will help us expand our business,” says Ron Galyon, VP and general manager, Valley Packaging, “but it’s our people that are essential to maintaining high quality standards. We have an outstanding group of employees throughout the organization, and that’s really where everything starts.”

“We are investing in a future that is strong for the Valley Packaging team, says Will Kress, president of Green Bay Packaging. “We are positioned to remain a strong, healthy, long-term packaging supplier in the southeast and look forward to continued success.”
