Odyssey Offers Education

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL | Strategies for profitability and growth are on the agenda for the technical and educational sessions of the 2011 Odyssey, scheduled for May 4-6 at the Nashville Convention Center in Nashville, TN.

Sponsored by the Intl. Assn. of Diecutting and Diemaking and the Foil & Specialty Effects Assn., the Odyssey program will include a panel discussion on the “Impact of Digital Printing Technology on Finishing and Packaging,” offered free on May 6. Other tech sessions will address ancillary equipment for folding/gluing; high-speed die-cutting; fabricating effective stripping tools; embossing/die-cutting in one pass; high-speed foil fusing technology; optimal makeready; and matching tooling to material.

Additional Techshop and classroom sessions address die-cutting/die-making, print finishing, folding carton, corrugated, and specialty markets.
