AIMCAL's Applied Web Handling Conference

PRESS RELEASE

CHARLOTTE, NC—AIMCAL will hold it's Applied Web Handling Conference May 7-10, 2006, at the Marriott Executive Park in Charlotte, NC. The agenda for the conference contains papers detailing technologies and applied current and future research that will directly improve productivity and/or reduce waste generation in web handling processes. Exception and innovative web handling techniques, equipment, design, materials, and process improvements are the core subject matter for the conference. The target audience is technical professionals within engineering, quality, and production control functions involving web handling and converting. The conference is open to both members and non-members.

A tabletop reception will take place Monday. An optional short course on wrinkling, tapping the expertise of three top industry consultants, is available Wednesday. For OEM equipment manufacturers, CEMA, the Converting Equipment Mfrs. Assn. will hold its annual program on Risk Assessment and Liability for Manufactures Wednesday.
